Location: Hancock Marina, MCAS, Cherry Point, NC and Neuse River
Eligibility: Any monohull sailing vessel. To compete and be scored, a vessel must possess a current PHRF rating. Entrants for single design classes do not need a rating.
Entry: A properly completed entry form, signed waiver of liability, and check for the $60 entry fee must be
received at HYC no later than Monday, July 5th. Late entries will be accepted until 9:30 am, July 10th for a fee of $70. US Sailing members may deduct 10%. The Skipper’s Package includes a T-shirt and hand towel and two tickets to the dinner on Saturday night. Additional dinner tickets will be sold for $12 each. All racing vessels must be registered prior to 8:45 AM on July 10th. Online registration form is available at www.hancockyachtclub.org or www.nyra.org
This year’s event is an ICRC Team event.
IMPORTANT SECURITY NOTICE: All participants who have crew arriving by automobile and do not have a base decal or appropriate government I.D. must submit their entries by July 5th and include the names of all crew members entering the base by car.
Classes: Class A – Spinnaker
Class B – Non-Spinnaker Performance
Class C – Cruising
Class D – Non-Spinnaker & spinnaker (PHRF 240 and above)

Schedule:
Friday, July 9th – 4 PM until 8 PM - Yacht arrival and registration at Hancock Marina. Free BBQ burgers & dogs, beer, and soft drinks for all at the Tiki Bar. HYC Members will provide many side dishes. Come hungry!
A limited number of slips are available on a first come-first served basis and those visiting on the end of the “T” pier should expect to have others raft outboard so we can accommodate as many as possible. Call VHF Channel 68 or 466-3816. A shuttle service will be provided for boats that anchor out in Hancock Creek.
Saturday, July 10th –
7:00 – 8:45 AM - Registration and complimentary Continental Breakfast.
9:00 AM - Skipper’s Meeting at the Tiki Bar
10:55 AM - Racing Starts. Two (2) races are scheduled.
6:30 PM (approximately) -Dinner including wine and beer
8:00 PM - Party on the docks at the Tiki Bar - (BYOB)
Sunday, July 11th
8:00 AM - Complementary continental breakfast
9:00 AM - Skipper’s Meeting at the Tiki Bar
10:55 AM - Racing Starts
Awards Ceremony ASAP after the race completion
